Our company is serving since 1989 on "Engine seals" and "Rubber and Felt Production".
The products of "Birlik Conta" are manufactured according to requirements and principles of "Qualitative Products" which are required and demanded on global and local markets. Our production principle is completely based upon "Qualitative Product" comprehension.
We are continuing to our works within the frame of customer satisfaction principle under the guarantee of EN ISO 9001:2008. We are manufacturing miscellaneous engine products for automotive sector as you may see in our catalogue, such cylinder cover, crankcase, upper cover, intake manifold and seal set. In our manufacturing process we are using materials such metals, klingerite, special papers for seals and rubber.
We are also manufacturing various types of seals other than these used in the automotive sector. We firstly determine the materials according to demand and then commence the manufacturing process of seals. Furthermore there are many spare parts which we are able to produce with our machines which we use in our manufacturing process.
Our general manufacturing methods are as following:
- Metal cutting plastering
- Rubber injection
- Metal injection
- Plastic injection
- Machining
Our manufacturing process flow begins with design. The material selections are made according to usage place of the products which technical drawings are made. Parameters such working temperature, liquid or gas where the product is places, pressures at which the product is subjected, frictions, applied strengths, compressibility where necessary and surface of usage are shaping the material to be used and the design.
Works are sent to molding room for the molds which are necessary according to manufacturing method. In our molding room we have got CNC wire erosion, CNC vertical machining equipments and we are working with machines such traditional cutters, lathes and grinding machines. By the aid of CAD CAM studies the designs of molds of the manufactured products are made and the products are molded. The necessary benches are determined and the machining process is commenced. The collected molds are tested and after the control and testing of the products and molds are delivered to production department.
In our molding room we are able to make the molds of the products manufactured by us. These are metal, cutting, plastering, rubber, plastic and metal injection molds. Beside to that, in our molding room we may perform machining operations suitable to our machines.
The manufacturing molds are sent to presses, rubber department or serial production department according to production plan. The developments occurred in updated technology drive on the demand of more complex seals. These appear as combinations of miscellaneous materials. The most used composite products are metal klingerite, metal-rubber, and metal-klingerite-rubber. These products are manufactured by means of press assembly or rubber injection according to production plan.
The metals cut in the rubber department are firstly cleaned or dusted. The injection is made by applying binders suitable to rubber which will be used on the surfaces of composition. As rubber materials we are suing nitryl (NBR), silicon (WMQ), Acrylic (ACM) and viton. The products vulcanized at the injection press are cleaned and the surface coatings are made.
The products received from product department in the packaging department are delivered by having made the quality controls in form of single product by being prepared as a set seal due to our wide library and according to received orders.
With the opportunities held by our company, we are striving to improve and innovate continuously our production process and to include new products in our manufacturing process. We are continuing to develop products within our yearly plans. We also are pleased to provide design and manufacturing support of special production demands of our customers.
